A good start Amber. Please continue to add pics as you add items.

It's worth the effort in getting the pictures to show here. I find photobucket much simpler but your mileage may vary.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Flickr makes it hard to post the picture. Here it is anyway.
I agree with stroppy. Photobucket is easier.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
When you make a post there is an icon that looks like a photo of a tree above. Click this and past your link, making sure you don't have a double http. This will show the photo in your post without having to click on the link. Great start, by the way.
Looks like a nice bookcase too. ( I love a bit of walnut)

I like the mushroom picture.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Imageschack is a good option as well. A Mod should change the title of the thread to reflect "Ambers' Collection", No?

With flickr, it is easiest to view the image at the size you want to link here. Then just right click it and select properties. Copy the address shown in that pop up window and pasted it in using "insert image" in your message here.
I find that's actually easier than trying to used the link code supplied by flickr.

Way to dive right in Amber, very nice! You inspired me to update my own collection thread, I hadn't touched it since last February ... got a couple of Joe Hill's in there you might like. I also tried out photobucket as well; it is fast, but I don't like that I can't see photobucket pictures on my phone.

Great pic... But as Stroppy said, let's see the others. There can never be too many pics of books.
"We make up horrors to help us cope with the real ones."
I need to dust that other bookcase 1st lol
The collection is looking great, Amber! Can't wait to see how it grows!
I started from a couple of tattered paperbacks... now I have a matching Dark Tower numbered set on route to me now.... it is a thrill and it is a lot of fun. The people here are great and will ALWAYS lend you a helping hand with regards to questions and finding a book or two. I really enjoy it and glad I joined! So .... welcome!!!
