Germany is good for King collectibles! They publish quickly the books, do some promotionnal items, and original covers...

This arrived today:

S/L Cycle of the Werewolf Portfolio #146/350

I paid $280 shipped for it.

I don't see these too often (only 350 made).

I don't think I got hosed on it, but not a great price either.

It is in beautiful shape.

Any thoughts on my purchase price?

It had been sitting out there for a while, so I contacted the seller and offered him $250. He countered with $260 plus $20 shipping (from Canada), and I agreed.

This was one of the few reasonably priced items left on my S/L wish list. It was at the bottom of that list because you really can't display it, and I thought it odd that it was signed by King when it was just based on his work (like the insomnia Portfolio).

When I got it, I discovered there actually is a short essay by King in the portfolio. Had I known that, it might not have been at the bottom of my list.
