I recieved this yesterday, looks awesome in person, 14"x17, this thing is huge...An original pen and pencil drawing signed by Tashiro Kiya? (apparently a special effecets artist).
I can't wait to get it framed...I'm expecting some similar art from the Dreamcatcher movie this week, I'll post pics when they arive....

Those look great. I am guessing they are related to the movie somehow? Sort of concept drawings or something? Do you have any background on them or know their intended purpose?

This item was purchased from the Steve Johnson XFX auctions and comes with a certificate of authenticity. Steve is one of the most prolific and famous special effects guys in Hollwood. He has worked on hundreds of movies including Ghostbusters, American werewolf in london, The Abyss, Where the Wild Things are, Spiderman 2, the Tommyknockers, the Stand, etc.

Original pen and marker concept art of the 1993 movie "TOMMYKNOCKERS" creatures body suit design for the STEPHEN KING movie. This is a one of a kind piece indeed! Was done and signed by artist Tashiro Kiys for XFX studios. The piece is mounted on foam core and has a couple creases in it but is barely visible from front. Would look insane framed, very vibrant ink even though it's close to twenty years old. Great chance to get a piece of Stephen King and movie memorabilia that you will never see again for sale. Again, this comes with a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY. I would love to keep this for my private collection but am forced to sell a large amount of my art collection, so please check my other auctions as well. There have been several recent autions from Steve Johonson XFX studios, I also won some movie concept art from Kings movie Dreamcatcher, I'll post some pics when the items arrive

I purchased one of the SODI + SODII sets from CD and received pretty much the same drawing when SODI arrived, like you I was disappointed because all the other drawings I had seen were so much better but did not say anything. Then a month or so latter SODII arrived and it had pretty much the same drawing so I sent them back for a refund (still waiting for the refund).

I see that very impressive remarque, and I think those who have issues with the somewhat tepid SOD remarques have a legit point...it's the same artist, after all.

Was there a big price difference between remarqued editions of the different books?

I'm not generally a fan of Chadbourne's work but those FDNS drawings are pretty impressive.
