i got it for what I thought was pretty cheap.

Difficult... I got my UK 'SALEM'S LOT for something like $100 I think. It's in very nice condition but with a priceclipped DJ. I have two copies of the UK 1978 THE STAND (both with intact DJs) and I paid around £100 for each. They are not in superb shape but this book is scarce enough to command a few £/$/€ in any condition I think...

Just a guesstimate but for a collectible 'SALEM'S LOT I'd say $300 and for a collectible THE STAND (hard to find, most have wrinkles on the DJ spine) $400-500.

I paid $275 a few months ago - at the time, David told me that was the first one he'd seen below $300 in quite a while. The cheapest on ABE right now is $350

I'd say that $300-$325 is a reasonable price for it right now. Considering I paid $350 WAY back in 1998 from Betts Books, I'd say that's not a bad haul Eric. I wish some of the other S/L prices were like that. Back then you could find a S/L The Stand for around $800-$1000 with little trouble.

$60 is about right, and no, sorry...don't have one for sale. I've seen 2 versions of this book, one that has a slipcase with publisher's information and book title etc on it and one with a clean slipcase.
