This thread should be focused on anything to do with aftermarket slipcases. To kick things off, there's some interest to have custom cases made by Jeff Whiley for the Doubleday books. We can discuss here.

Obviously the cost of the plate is a one off as it can be used again and again. A separate plate is required if the spine is to be embossed as well.
Costs could be kept down by having the slipcases just embossed on the spine or just have a generic 'Stephen King' on the front (this plate is already made and would incur no additional cost)
Personally I would like to have each one specific to the book, if we got 10 people to split the plate cost it becomes very reasonable (.80p to £4 each, depending on size)
