Wow, that's great. Congratulations Jon. Sadly my Colorado Kid collection is rather poor. All I have is the paperback and the proof. I didn't even know about that large print hardcover edition.

so I am missing the PS Unsigned and Artist editions (and I probably do not intend getting them in the future).

There the only ones I have! between us we have a complete set!

We should probably amalgamate our collections so we would have complete sets of a lot of titles!

I have to agree with you on the BoBD. I too generally prefer the UK DJ's, but not in this instance. For a change the U.S. guys got a better handle on the DJ.

I believe these are fairly scarce as a hardback. Before PS released the UK hardback a couple of years later this was the only hardback of The Colorado Kid. Most were sent to libraries, schools etc. so many are in poor shape with library markings. I was lucky to get a new copy on release back in 2005, but if I remember it was not cheap at about $100. I haven't seen a fine copy for sale for ages.

Very nice! I got a fine copy from Alan (Mr. RT) a couple of years ago and I don't think I've seen any for sale since then. Nice copies are definitely hard to come by!

Not part of my book collection but had fun playing with these guys yesterday. I should be bringing home two of these in just under three weeks time. They will definitely be my new P&Js for a looooong time, just can't wait!

What breed are these? The spots make them look very exotic.

They are a cross with a domestic cat and an Asian Leopard Cat. They're called Bengal Cats.

Thanks John. Their markings is what attracted me to this breed of cats. I've missed having cats around over the last few months after we lost our two cats of 17 and 18 years old. It will be nice to have cats back in the home. My youngest daughter is asking on almost a daily basis as to when we're going to get some more. We haven't told her yet and it will be a nice surprise for her when they'll arrive.
