Congrats Simon - an edition I hope to have one day too, awesome.
Very, very nice, Simon! Receiving my first flat signed copy really gave me the bug for it. When things pick up for me, I'm really looking forward to adding lots of sigs.
It wasn't me that sent you the CTCC btw. Eric sent me my copy as I couldn't find one locally.

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
This has been some time coming. I've had this book for a while now, but didnt want to post it till all the pieces were put together.
Firstly, here it is in all it's glory, Stephen King's IT S/L #679!
SO why the delay? Well I originally purchased this book from a member here and I got it for a VERY good price, the reason being that the Tray case had suffered some extensive damage, (although the book and DJ were perfect). I was fully aware of this damage, so it came as no surprise, but I agonised for a long time whether to buy it or not. As we all know, much of the value in a S/L is in the condition of all it's components, Book, DJ and Tray case or slipcase and I had no guarantees of ever finding a replacement. In the end, I came up with a price that I felt was fair and I stuck to it. The seller was a little disappointed but understanding and we agreed a final price. I knew I had taken a real risk with this and when it arrived I knew I couldn't live with it as it was and HAD to find a replacement Tray case. This is what the original looked like:
I asked around and got some offers, but they also had issues. I then contacted Brian at CD on the off chance he could help....
...Of course not, we all know what Brian's like BUT he did pass me over to Dan who not only found me a brand new replacement but shipped it out next day FOC! AMAZING service from CD! Thanks to Dan, Brian and all @ CD for providing an real level of customer satisfaction, they should be applauded.
One more pic...

I also received another S/L, this one from David@Betts. Ordinarily this would have taken centre stage, but I am just so stoked with the IT S/L

And one more little extra item to add to the collection, I already have the Raft, so had to have this as well.

I like the damaged IT traycase better. It has more personality.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Your very lucky to have IT. It is one of CD's best
