    It doesn't make sense, I just believe it's iconic to Japanese readers as America in the late fifties/early sixties.
    I saw another cover (Polish I believe) that showed the handgun as a semi-automatic instead of a revolver.

    As most of you know My 1st TRUE LOVE was MOVIE TIE-IN books & in my never ending search for books I was always looking in 2nd hand book stores for books I was missing....This book was on my want list for a long time...
