That’s really cool! Do you have him mounted on the wall it the closet and sit there reading the book by candle light?

I'm glade to see that I am not the only one who thinks this 1st edition hardcover (PERMA-BOUND) CREEPSHOW is rare Preferred Books in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif. is asking $500.00 for an unsigned copy.

Just curious does anyone else own one or even seen one of these?

Bruce - does the Permabound version differ in anyway to the first? ISBN/CP/etc?
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

Yes The PERMA-BOUND has it's LOGO printed right on the cover & there is NO edge between the red & the pink (like it is one piece of paper)

also there is no ISBN or pricing on the back cover of the PERMA-BOUND. The copyright page is the same with a 1-9 number line

also the color difference (some one blamed it on the PERMA-BOUNDing but I have seen quit a few PERMA-BOUND books and the color was NEVER affected also the ONLY thing on the spine is CREEPSHOW STEPHEN KING. I think these covers were exclusively made for PERMA-BOUND.
