Anyone know the issue price?
Must look in my files for the original ES/NEBEL/Die Augen des Drachen EP prices but the original price for
Angst Edition Phantasia ( Bare Bones) limited to 300 slipcased was 125 DM
This is the ´NO bootleg´ story:
In 1986 Edition Phantasia published a limited edition of 500 + 30 Roman Nr. Der NEBEL Stephen King's short story The Mist . This was preceded by a closed License Agreement between the German rights holder, Heyne, and Edition Phantasia/Mr. Körber.
Mr. Körber is the owner of Edition Phantasia he was for a long time the translator for all Stephen King Books.
Stephen King/management subsequently not recognizes this contract, although a part of the books (50?) where sold. The rest get destroyed.
In the same year ES Edition Phantasia was published ( It) limited to 250 copies + 30 Roman nr.
This book was the Worldfirstedition!!!
After the ´problems´ with NEBEL, the next Stephen King book project from
Edition Phantasia was canseled Die Augen des Drachen-Eyes of the Dragon, but the paintings for the book from Johann Peterka are finished.
Edition Phantasia decided to publish the 13 paintings as limited signed portfolio.

According to my information there were also 30 copies lettered I - XXX reserved for the press.
I also have a note saying "30 American dollars??"

Not strictly correct. These are numbers, not letters. I - XXX.
I can't find my U.S. flyer but if I remember right I picked 1 up in Germany new for $75.00 the german flyer I can find has the price for NEBEL at 98,- Deutsche Mark and the EYES OF THE DRAGON book was going to be DM 148,- If you pre ordered they would print your name in the book only 200 to be printed ( I have a Eiition Phantasia edition of Clive Barker's Damnation Game 1/ 300 with my name in the book what they did was rubber stamp fur -------- -------- under the title on the signature page.) But it was not to be.

Therefore they are numbered, not lettered. Roman numerals are exactly that "numerals". The example you show is "16"/500, not the 16th letter of the alphabet (P)
I didn't say they were lettered. It looks like the Roman Numbered editions I-XXX did not have a separate limitation page with ___/XXX but simply used the same ___/500 sheets and put in the Roman Numerals.
