OK folks. I'm a very enthusiastic supporter of the annual "Haven Fund Raiser" If, you have not already noticed. We, as of this moment, have raised $500 towards a goal of $1,500 for Paypal donations. Well done, but we are not quite 'there yet". Please, if you are able in these tough economic times, give as much as you can to this wonderful charity!!!!

The Donation "Widget" appears on the homepage and elsewhere. $5, $10 or $25 anything you can spare is GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have to ask if the link is "safe"? I dropped my paypal acct because it somehow got hacked and it was linked to my bank account so it was not pleasant. Paypal eventually gave me back every penny stolen but I don't want to go thru that again ever. I see on the link that we can also pay with a credit card, but does that also go thru paypal?

Yeah, If you register the card on your paypal account. That's wierd. I've always heard that Paypal was secure. I have never had any problems with it. At least they made good on the fraud. Which is what you pay for right?

Edit: Actually, I prefer to register my Credit cards and not bank accounts with Paypal. You get double the fraud protection from Paypal and your individual card company. As a rule, I let no one, but my Mortgage Co. have any access to my bank account. That's sacred and smart. At least IMHO

They dared to limit my account once for no reason. I assure you if you call and bitch they'll fix that. They tried to tell me I could verify by giving them my routing numbers for my bank. I said I don't have a damn bank. Now fix my account. It was fixed within an hour.
