    Hey, i know i ain't been around lately. Sorry about that I miss everyone. Anyhow today I'm leaving for pittsburgh from nc. My mom is in icu and it doesn't look good. I'm kinda fucked up by it. Any prayers/ kind thoughts you can spare are appreciated.

    I finally plunged into the 21st Century last night and opened a Twitter account. I really want to give this full-time author thing a legitimate shot, and it's more than just the writing. As with any business venture, it's about meeting people and getting to know the industry. In my bio I mentioned Ambannon Books, IMC 2014, my story "Slice", and my desire to be a (successful) author. As of this morning I have a whopping 7 followers (Stephen King, look out); my very first was Kealan Patrick Burke (that was pretty cool!) and our very own Brian Freeman followed this morning (thanks Brian!). 6 of the 7 followers are in the horror writing/publishing business, which tells me that Twitter works.

    So, if anyone is interested, I'm @GHowellWhite .
