Ultra Rare “Black Galley” Only 10 printed!

From Cemetery Dance: “Here are some of the selling points I think collectors would be most interested in:

* ten copies were printed in August 2010.

* includes all of the B&W artwork but not the final color artwork.

* printed for internal purposes only such as proofreading and checking the design. These were never meant for reviewers and were not distributed outside the office.

* some minor corrections may have been made to the text after this version
was printed.

* This copy was not read.

* The "stripes" on the cover are standard to all 10 copies and they were the result of the black being oversaturated at the printer.”

This book was donated by Cemetery Dance Publications. It is in unread condition.

Another bit of info about this proof that I have heard: As stated, only 10 copies were printed BUT half of the copies were read and/or used for proofing purposes. So only about half of the copies are in unread state like the one CD donated.

I think that this is an absolutely remarkable item for CD to have donated! I am very curious (like everyone else) to see what bids it brings.

My best guess would be in the 3-400$ range!!!!

Great point. Just like most books condition does count.

I guarantee it will sell for over $400-even if I have to buy it myself.

My prediction is over $1K (which I really hope for. Ebay charges 9% commission up to $999. At $1K for this type of auction the commission is $50_I believe I have the facts straight).
