I just got back from my Barnes & Noble and all their copies say Barnes & Noble. On to some other places tomorrow.

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
I think the Barnes & Noble one is the standard cover. That's the quote from the book after all. The other cover is probably out of consideration for non-B&N booksellers.

I wish everyone would stop using the term, "completist". If you don't have the lettered editions, you are not a completist!
What's Kings smallest Lettered Print run? I know Firestarter is only 26. Anything smaller?
Anyway, my point is, if a Lettered makes a completest..we can only have 26 or less completest in the world.

I guess I should have said a "completist within a budget". Kind of awkward, though.
John
Why can't someone be a "completest" of King's first US editions, etc.? I don't see anything wrong with someone wanting every variation of the first editions if that is your thing. Completest doesn't necessarily have to mean everything King ever produced.
Which would make sense.
Or.. how to know that this is not an actual "product placement", sponsored by B&N?
Probably not product placements can sometimes be tricky to recognised as such.
I always wondered if, for instance, some famous authors were getting paid for putting the name of a specific car, or product or whatever...

There are examples of authors who are accepting money for product placement, but King has such a long history of mentioning name brands in his work that I think this is just another case of that. It's not as if there are a ton of chain bookstores to mention any more.

They probably all would have said B&N on the outside, but Amazon likely (IMO) shit a brick.
