Gift Edition for me
HELP ME FIND
Insomnia #459
ANY S/L #459
Gift edition for me too.
None for me - although it is for a good cause, not every book demands a "special edition"
Totally agree Eric.

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????

Wow! I am buying both (numbered and gift) to support the charity, Brian Freeman and my love of Stephen King! I am sure it is going to be awesome! Brian --- Get Stephen King to sign (secretly - at least my copy) and surprise everyone!!!!
I might have purchased a copy, whether it be G/E, S/L or Lettered, however; I understand that Wild Bill has pre-purchased every last copy - all the time muttering something about a bonfire (although I think you've already had July 4th, yes?)
We all float down here!
Uuuuugh. I love Brian/CD/SKbooks etc. but I am sick and damn tired of all the special editions lately. That's a big fat pass for me.
I almost wish I had passed on the Doubleday Books and the PS Anniversary books as well at this point. I'm nearing burn out levels. Only took one year of special editions after 20 years of collecting. Sigh.
Book business is hurting. They have to find some way to stay open and make some $$$.
I bought a number, I am not a Red Sox fan but I am a baseball fan. A good baseball story, even if it is not about my team, is still a good baseball story. This is not the first S/L not signed by SK, so no SK signature did not slow me down.

I'm vacillating. I'm in a charitable mood, and I feel like buying something stupid. I might try to sell my matched # Grant Talisman (1984) and Black House S/Ls to fund the lettered edition.
Not buying.
Might, just might, change my mind and buy the gift.

No interest in this from me. Faithful will probably end up being the only King book I never read. But it's a great cause, so I hope enough people want it to make it sell out.
As a completist of 1sts and GE's I will be getting this.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I don't have the trade and won't be getting a special edition. I just have no interest.
Wanted: Human skin edition of The Book of the Dead. Will accept PC copy.
$750 for Stewart O'Nan's signature? Uh, no. (I know he signed the limited ed. too, but still)
For the Lettered edition, they should have tried to get a Red Sox player to sign it - there's enough guys from 2004 that somebody would have gotten on board - Mike Timlin? Wakefield? Then, MAYBE, that price is justified.
[EDIT: Ooops - forgot it was a benefit! That makes the price much more reasonable. Although, I still think they should have gone out and found a Red Sox player to add his signature - Kevin Millar would sign a 100 books for a crate of whiskey.]
Just can't get on board this one. Great cause, but I have no interest in this book.
