Great item. I've always loved remarques that add just a little bit of color.

Just so you all know, Ms. Bauman is watching!!
She went out of her way to do a little something different this year for the Haven Fund

loving this! Currently coming back to me!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
$56.00 !! Really? I am all over this at that price!!!

People, surely we can do better than this for such an awesome item!! Search your "souls" (and wallets)!!! If "we" do not support, Jill she will cease to support "us"!!

Bill, sorry, but I don't agree with that at all. Jill Bauman has one HELL of a charitable streak.
Oh, I didn't mean that at all!! She is one generous and giving person!! She helps us out every year without question!!! Nevertheless, we need to show our support as well, no? That's all I meant.
Remember folks, most of the items that come up for auction for the "Haven Fund" are 1 of 1 type pieces. Each year the artists try to make their art pieces more and more "exclusive to the HF". They have always been very passionate and kind in this respect (and innovative. Wait until you see some of the upcoming stuff!!) Own a piece of SK history!!!!

I bid again, but this will probably be my last one. I need to take UK Shipping into account too!

Very generous of Jill (and all of the other artists) to give their time and skill to producing artwork for the Haven Fund.
I hope that between us we can make a huge financial contribution from the sales of items such as this and that it will be supported by all here.
Selling EVERYTHING! Come and get it!
(Except my Gunslinger First Edition. That ain't going nowhere. It's the only one I'm keeping, can't let that go)
Rachel is of course too modest to mention her own contributions to the HF so I will do so on her behalf!
Look out or some great things from her soon!

Despite the minor flaws in/on the book, the original artwork raised the value to a cool hundred bucks (I'm sure the winner bid even higher). Thanks for the donation, stroppy and Jill!

Who won? Anybody here?
My final bid was $99 so someone snuck in at the end there!

Someone got a nice deal.
I heard it is a very happy TDT member who owns no other printed copy of this book.
