They really thought that password-sharing wasn't going to be a huge problem down the road, didn't they?

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????

Other factors too of course. The way they spent money was reckless at times.
Also raising prices every two years isn't good.
This. The constant price increase has made me want to cancel my subscription. I might too, and just rejoin for a month here and there. There's just too many streaming services now, and this is one of the priciest ones.
Anyone remember when Netflix first started and the streaming portion was included. I miss those days.
Only the gentle are ever really strong.
well i still buy physical media but we do have netflix i've been watching the Arrowverse shows on it actually
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
Has anyone seen Meltdown: Three Mile Island (4-part documentary series)? I vaguely recall it in the news as it happened, but apparently I didn't pay very close attention, because I hadn't known it was as serious as it actually was, and, if anything, the people involved were worse, a bigger danger, than the equipment. Yikes.
You can't be aloof until you advertise.

For a while, Netflix was the only kid on the streaming block. They literally had the market cornered. That's not the case anymore. I can't even count how many streaming services are out there now.
People have been sharing passwords forever. That's not the main issue. Honestly, I'm surprised there are as many subscribers as they say there are. The main issue is what Tommy said, their spending has just been obscene. It wasn't sustainable.

Rob Zombie's The Munsters will stream on Netflix
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
A PG Rob Zombie movie. Who would've thought?
A NEW GAME BEGINS
I had posted the trailer a few days ago around here somewhere. I hate to say it because as much as I like a lot of his other work, this looks... not good.
It kinds reminds me of the dumb little skits they do between watching movies on the old MST3K shows.
Also, nobody can ever replace Fred Gwynne as Herman.

Just finished watching The Imperfects. They did zero marketing for this show. I just happen to run across it while scrolling for something to watch and the trailer looked interesting. It was ok I guess but nothing great.
It really felt like a low-budget version of Heroes. Same basic idea. 3 young people who were subjects in some testing by a scientist when they were younger suddenly develop "powers" and spend the entire show trying to figure out how to cure themselves. Bits and pieces of their "real" lives are thrown in. Boyfriends, girlfriends, family members, etc.. but they don't really get a whole lot of screen time and by the last episode, I had basically forgotten what happened to most of them.
The special effects are pretty bad when they do show them so they stick with a lot of things happening off screen.
The cast is pretty much 100% unknowns (or at least people I had no idea who they were). It reminded me of the Hallmark or Lifetime movies where all the actors sort of look like someone semi-famous but they aren't.
Anyway, it's 10 episodes of around 45-50 minutes each. It took me a few weeks to get through it because it wasn't engaging enough that I had to see what happened next and I didn't really feel any connection with any of the characters.
They are set up for a season 2 (because of course they are) but I don't know that I'll watch it if it does happen.

Anyone watching the Midnight Club? I started it last night and think it's ok so far. Always good for a jump scare or two.

This trailer came out a while ago but I just saw it.

Looks interesting. Thanks for sharing.

I finished it the other day. Thought it was quite enjoyable. Almost like a better version of American Horror Story. I like how they were able to intertwine the stories that the kids were telling and still have an overarching plot in the "real world" that was separate from the stories. I hope they make a season 2.
I noticed a few SK Easter eggs in a few episodes as well.

I enjoyed Bly Manor more than HH. Thought it was really good.

I was the exact opposite. I watched Hill House first and really liked it. Bly Manor was ok but some of those fake accents *coughHenryThomascough* were just awful.
Apparently I'm not alone in this either.
