I finally got around to watching Fargo. We watched the first two seasons - both excellent – and are about to start the third.

Fargo is good stuff.
You can't be aloof until you advertise.
The most recent season was good, but kind of puttered out a bit for me.

Watched the first 2 ep's of Behind Her Eyes last night. Not bad.
Finished Ted Lasso, and loved it. Can't wait for it to return, hopefully this summer.
Just started Ozark - about five episodes in and really liking it. Never really thought much of Jason Bateman, but the guy can act and direct (he did the opening episodes of The Outsider too). Laura Linney is her usual excellent self, but Julia Garner is the real standout.
I love Ozark. It feels subtle while going some outrageous places, and has a good cast, as you note.

Ozark is amazing. That's all.

Jason Bateman really surprises in Ozark. It's a really good show, a little farfetched for the things that are constantly happening, but still enjoyable to watch. The area looks amazing. Bateman reminds me of the same character as when he played in the movie The Gift.

If y'all ain't watching Invincible on Prime, you need to be. Think of it as an animated The Boys. The first 4 episodes of S1 are currently streaming on Amazon.
Just finished the 1st three seasons of "The Expanse" and I have to say it was a pretty good watch!! Still 2 seasons to go, but I give it 2 thumbs up so far!!!
EDIT: It's on "Amazon".

i know there are those really into TV so - has anyone run across why HBO has stopped showing what I would call "new" movies on Saturday nights? Used to be they would run something less than a year old. Somthing popular. Last few months they have been running what I would call junk - maybe good once - but now so old and so run all the time as to be stale- Rocky, Bill and Ted, Ted and Bear, Dreamgirls = filler like that. I know they have that HBO+ which I will never use til it's just a channel. (Nor do I apprecate the false billing for HBO+ on my bill. I suscribe to HBO only.) Now they just seem to be documentaries and series.
SO, any idea why the idiots dropped Saturday night premiers?

Watching The House of Flowers on Netflix, it’s so unexpectedly good and fun! Very much recommended!
Anyone else watch the network shows and notice that they are pretty inconsistent with their mask wearing?
Two examples are The Conners and Superstore. In both of them the characters would be wearing a mask until they had to talk to another character. Then they would either pull it down to their chin or take it off completely. Then there's shows like The Good Doctor where they did 2 or 3 episodes where they showed everyone dealing with the pandemic. Then they literally had a disclaimer that said they were in a fictional world and in their world the pandemic was over so they wouldn't be portraying it anymore.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
