Here Bill... to make up for that... I'll share with you some Gremlin porn.
from today's car show... The gremlin's first time... She's not a virgin any more.
even though the mechanical is not totally done (putting in an electric high-flow radiator fan and racing shocks next week), and the cosmetics are yet to be started... It still got lots of attention from the crowd. It's not everyday people see a running Gremlin, much less one with a 360 V8 in it. (Well, I do... but most people don't).
Hubba, Hubba!!!! Wait!!! I think my penis moved!!! LOL LOL LOL

finally found an as-new original gas cap for it... been looking for one in perfect condition with no dents, rust or scratches for almost 2 years. Damned thing cost me over a 100 bucks though.

Terry,
I don't give a hoot about the Gremlin. But for a second I thought you had Veronica Rodriguez in front of your car! That would be a coup for the Gremlin...and for you! Hope all is well!
John
Gremlin's are Hatchbacks... not coupes.
BTW... I didn't know who Veronica Rodriguez was... I'm really really glad I wasn't at work when I searched for pictures of her... But yeah... she does look like her.
You gave entirely new meaning to my original statement of gremlin porn
Now... I'm going to go spend some quality personal time searching for more Vagina Rodriguez pictures.
All,
I won't drag anyone into a political debate but I will try to make a general point that will hopefully differentiate the feeling this week versus '08 and '12 for Republicans ('00 and '04 for Democrats, etc, etc.). I hope it comes out the right way. I can't say some things b/c of where I work or who I work for but I can tell you that morale just took a deep dive.
Barack Obama was a sitting Senator with a vision for the country. He politely debated with John McCain and won a hard-fought campaign. And had McCain not brought Palin into the picture, he might have won the Presidency. Consensus from where I am. But Obama won. And after he won, nobody feared that freedom of the press would change. Nobody feared that "we oughta just bomb the hell out of them" would be the mantra for the Dept. of Defense. Nobody feared that historical allies would have to worry about a US commitment to treaties. Nobody had to tell their children why it is NOT OK to just grab a girl in the pussy. Nobody had to worry that we just elected a bald-faced liar...and a crook...or a bully...a racist...a xenophobe...a homophobe...a POOR businessman...because we didn't elect one in '08 or '12. I'm usually voting Democrat but I was open to alternatives until the Republican party nominated that person. I could have voted for Bush, Kasich, Graham. I could have voted for Romney. But the Republicans nominated "him." "Hey Russia, hack our institutions!" "Putin is a great guy!" That is why we are sick to our stomachs. He is a pig! He is thin-skinned. He will NOT help those in this country who need help. He will not return jobs to the US. The jobs lost in this country are 80% related to technological innovations that began in the auto industry in the late-70s/early-80s. He is PT Barnum. And 59M fell for it.
Barack Obama greatly disappointed me. He let me down financially and he could have been better politically. Perhaps then the gridlock could have somewhat been avoided. But I NEVER felt unsafe with him as the POTUS. I do worry now. And, as others have said, this will be my ONLY comment on Tuesday's election. Back to collecting books.
Can someone please remind me how exactly works the voting system in the USA?
Two candidates, citizens vote for the "senators" or something like this, one of the two sides.
The amount of senators are related to the amount of people in the related states.
The most amount of senators from one side, will define the president.
Something like this, right?
But then, how come someone that do not have the most votes becomes presidents? It's just sound... I guess that somehow he got more "senators" or something from his side, but that sounds weird to me.

Just as the US is a representative government, in essence the electoral college are people elected to "place their vote" as a representative of their party for their winning candidate.
It's a quirky system installed by the founding fathers of the country to "balance" things between small states, and big states (population wise).
