To be fair, the lettered edition was priced low at publication, but it's not a great production really. $500 for a lettered King seems reasonable to me. Especially when you look at a lettered Shining at $2.5k direct from the publisher. Sub Press have effectively cut out the secondary market - good for them.Yeah, I didn't think of that. Essentially, the publishers just estimate the demand for the book and price accordingly, SP did it right, whoever published Joyland (Hard Case?) did it...differently...
