Very interesting, it will be published almost two years to the date after King read the excerpt at George Mason University.

December 1, 2009: King's official websites posts a poll for the visitors to choose the book for King to write next, Doctor Sleep or The Wind Through the Keyhole
December 31, 2009: The Dark Tower book loses the poll but comes out first
September 23, 2011: King reads an excerpt from Doctor Sleep at George Mason University
February 19, 2012: King reads an excerpt from Doctor Sleep at the Savannah Book Festival
April 24, 2012: The Wind Through the Keyhole audiobook is released, featuring King reading the first chapter of Doctor Sleep
May 8, 2012: King's official site announces Doctor Sleep is to be published on January 15, 2013, but promptly removes the exact date the following day
September 18, 2012: Doctor Sleep is re-announced for publication in a year, on September 24, 2013

I think Amazon had listed the book when the January 2013 pub date was first announced and then they removed it when that date was changed to TBD?
