    Yep. He is resting comfortably (doped up on pain meds) and planning to post an update tonight. In good spirits!

    Found the stone, gonna' go in Thursday for a Shock Wave Treatment to try to break it up....

    Oh, I am so sorry to hear about your kidney stone issues David!. I know that pain well...likely the worst pains I've ever had. Hope they can get you feeling better soon.

    Medical Update (yeah, some of you probably bored to tears, sorry):

    CAT scan showed new blockage by stone (duh!), Urology doc said he will try shock wave treatment Thursday and I'll know appt time tommorow. Took pain med before bed at 8 but at 8:45 I had two of the worst stone attacks I've had (third blockage now)....as some others hav said, it was the WORST pain I've ever felt in my life and the 2 episodes lasted almost an hour, hands and knees, sweating buckets and trying hard not to hurl...it was simply awful. Went downstairs and curled up by wife and oldest son who were very helpful/worried but nothing they could do really...Finally pain lessened by 11:30 and now I've processed all my overnight reports at my other job. Due for another pain med at 2 and hope to rest/sleep (would be blessing) for couple hours until I have to be on top of report postings etc. that I do every day.

    This is NOT fun....my hope is I have a peaceful enough day Wednesday and can get to Thursday's medical intervention....All in all, this just plain sucks and I apologize as I have lots of books and payments to send out, but I have to get stable first to do that.

    THANK YOU for all of your support....many of you have been so supportive with posts, texts, emails...it REALLY has helped me mentally to battle through the last stone episode (on my birthday 9/9) and now this one....Man, I am SO READY to move past this!!!!!!!!!!!

    Nope, can't...only so many machines in the area....I mean last week they looked to set me up for this after my stent removal as the next step and THEN earliest opening was Oct 20th (almost a month later), but now it is "emergency" so they are likely "bumping" someone to give me a slot tomorrow. Not set up yet so we will see.
