This is a good time to point out to everyone that if we transition to a dynasty league like we are considering then it will require more attention and your commitment to return each year. If this is too much for anyone please let me know and we can talk about it.

I admire your ambition to run a long term dynasty league RUBE, but I don't think we have a commitment of active owners necessary for the formula we adapted.

I certainly admire the heck out of the idea but I surmise that most want a fantasy experience better suited by a "join, input minimal participation, and enjoy just being involved in a team" experience that would be better suited by a re-draft league.

Im not suggesting we change back, though! I'm attached to my keeper team!

Is there a way to print out or sort all the keepers? I think this may have been covered before but I am unable to find the discussion.

To see everyone's players you can click on the keepers link on our league home page. It will show all of the teams and who is owned.

If you want to see all of the available free agents and rookies, click on the players tab on the home page and then click on the projections tab.

I'm good with the site and whatever drafting format is used. I do get turned around on the ESPN site but can work with whatever we have.

If you were addressing me:

I run multiple leagues and participate in at least 6 a year. I joined this one for two reasons, one to compete vs boardies for fun, and two because I liked the idea of the dynasty format and proposed rules by Rube.

Im certainly willing to compete by whatever ruleset that is adapted, but I will have my voice. I am a hardcore fantasy footballer, so participating in such a casual league is not the norm for me.

The thing is, the setup we have adopted is for more of an active participant. See Rubes quoted post a few posts up. We dont really have that in this league. Hell, only half the people even voted in the poll. We will see how many show up for the draft LOL.

BUT

That doesn't mean we still cant have fun. If yall's asses are being chapped by my vociferousness, you will just have to try and whip me on the gridiron. A task that just may be harder to do that last year!

All I get from all this is that lookitis might be too hardcore a player for this league. We had all agreed on a date and everything else for this season, only to have a wrench thrown in 10 days before our draft. I said start another league meaning have 2 dt.org leagues so you can run the one the way you want and we can keep the one we had settled on. Or just kai-bosh the whole thing and start over. The defending champ doesn't really care.

I'm not ready to move on or start another league (dont think there is enough interested participants in our peer group) and am ready to comply with however we choose to go forward!!!

Im just excited it is almost football season.

I was out of town on vacation and also having dental surgery (then went straight to work on a independent feature film for two weeks) when the original poll was made, that is why i didnt answer it. When I got some free time, as you can see I waded in with both feet.

Im just ready to compete and, well, folks who think I'm the worst team in the league for coming in 12th place last year can just have a look at my roster, i drafted blue chippers for the long haul and it could pay off very soon.

I think its time for everyone to settle down and get ready for their draft. It is only a little over a week away. Then the league will be open to trades and add/drops. I am hoping to see a few more trades this year.


BTW Ben, I forgot to mention that you may want to click on the option to display only "flex" players when you lookup who is available. That way it removes all the D/STs, Ks, and third-tier QBs.

ESPN Interface is not set up to run this league as we have it configured. Yahoo is infinitely more customizable.

Your best bet is to participate live in the draft. It is only three picks. Use your smartphone if you have to be somewhere else.

I have a feeling that folks who are drafting auto-draft just may get hosed.

The only way to do this (which isn't any better on Yahoo because it still lists kept players as well) is to look at the players tab and determine who are free agents first (sort by projection). Take that list and sort those players to the top of your predraft rankings. Use the search option to find them quickly and then drag them to the spot you want. I think I went into more detail when explaining it to Ben so check above. Sorry I am working today so I don't have much time to chat. Remember to have them set early because I think it cuts you off about an hour before the draft.

I'd rather take a RB, but I don't see one that emerges out of the pack as a sure fire # 1 pick this year.

I think Watkins is most poised for long term dynasty success.
