Either the planets are all in alignment, or pigs are flying, or hell has frozen over, or there's a blue moon, or I am finally having a flashback trip from the late 60's!!!!

By the way, slo but sure wins the race - note this is my 2,000th post! Mighty Merlin is only 10K+ posts ahead of me! of course that's only due to all of his Haven Whoring!

Last nights 11 inning loss to the Red Sox was a shame. We came back and surged with our B League players and were shut down by the umpire in the top of the 11th as he called Nunez out stealing second. Subsequent slo mo replays show Nunez as definitely safe! That may or may not have changed the outcome of the game. If the next batter got a single and Nunez scored then Mo would have been pitching the bottom of the 11th! Such a shame to lose this way!!!!

Wow I knew the score during the gaem from updates on my iphone. When I go thome I turned the game on to see Texas up 4 - 3 and Nathan coming in to close. All I could think was here we go again - crapola! To my surprise Nathan gets a blown save. Nunez gets an awesomely times triple and Lillibridge (who I wasnt really hopeful for at bat) knocks him in! Mo closes in style and we get to put a W up in the win column!
On another note, Braun gets a 65 game suspension - A-Rod can't be far behind! Any day now I suspect! Wonder how much he's paying his lawyers right now! :-)
And lastly - Yankees in discussions sith Alphonso Soriano - I really hated to see him go away way back when that happened. Not so sure I am happy to see him come back at 37 years old and #'s dropping!
