Trust me, there was plenty of ice, but its ARIZONA and it was 107 degrees yesterday!!! That water was FUCKING FREEZING, but I was bone dry 15 minutes later!!! Well, one of the people I "called out" has stepped up for the HF instead of ALS. Way to go, Ray!!!

Alan Moore finally finished working on his new novel. It's called Jerusalem and it took six years to write. Oh, and it's a millions words long: http://www.theguardian.com/books/201...v-for-vendetta
I don't get how he accomplished this while also being swamped with non-novel work. It took me nearly two years to read Voice of the Fire and that was roughly 250 pages.
Very interesting. Sounds daunting. But it's Alan Moore so will have to take a gander when it finally is published.
