Wow, where do I start? I almost just sold someone the Brooklyn Bridge. Quick explanation, and then I'll get to the conversation. Someone posted a funny video about the new head-ripper-offer prisoner execution machine. So OBVIOUSLY fake (and funny, if you've never seen it, lol) and yet someone (friend of a friend of a friend) responded with something along the lines of "Oh my God! That is so inhumane! How can the government let this happen?" ... So, I tagged his name and told him I had a bridge to sell. Just a quick little "Haha" ... no big deal, just me being a smartass. Well, about five minutes later, this guy messaged me, and the rest is history. I've changed his name, as I don't want to embarrass him too much. Enjoy (and comment!)

Hello Bob, you're in luck. I am the actual owner of the Brooklyn Bridge. Have you ever been to New York?

I was just wondering if you've ever been to my Bridge, but I guess not. It's been in my family for generations. I never really wanted it, but it kinda got passed to me, so I'm trying to sell it.

Bob:
I couldn't afford that. No way in hell. I wish though.

Well, see that's the thing. It actually generates profit everyday from the tolls on each side, and the passengers on the boats and ships have to throw coins onto the bridge as they pass under it. It costs nothing to run it, as that's all been taken care of.

Shannon Gaisser:
I don't know what I'd sell it for, but it wouldn't be much. Maybe $53.00? Is that too much?

Shannon Gaisser:
OK, you twisted my arm. I'll accept $49.99. But only in person, I don't want you to take my Bridge and leave.

Alright no worries. Hey, if you ever change your mind you let me know OK. I think you're the right guy to sell the Bridge to. I tried selling it to Trump and Timberlake but they were like, "I already have a few bridges, I don't need another one!" So ... boo on that.

I have started putting together a website that will serve as a bibliography of books published by Donald M. Grant and its various predecessors and offshoots. The primary purpose of the site is to help me document which books I do and don't have. I have started with books published prior to 1964 (i.e., before "Donald M. Grant, Publisher" was founded). This is my first time owning a domain name, and I'm having fun learning how to use WordPress as a publishing platform. I've decided to use a Pinterest-type template, because I really just want to be able to look at lots of pictures at once. I have a Wordpress app on my iPhone that lets me add an entry for a book alomng with pictures in about a minute, which is pretty nice.
