Congratulations, Juliana! There is really nothing nicer than an S/L THE GUNSLINGER.

Congrats on all the recent purchases, everyone. Juliana, special congrats on that S/L! Like Olverts said, it is one that I am unlikely to ever own.
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
A Scribner/Grant proof of Song of Susannah I bought recently. It's in the condition I expected, and wasn't damaged (much) in shipping. The seller just put it inside a plastic ziploc bag, and threw the bag in a flat-rate envelope. It's annoying, because the flat-rate envelope cost $6. He could have wrapped it in a ton of newspaper and placed it a nice secure box and the media mailed it for less than $4. Oh well...
Thanks everyone!. It's not very common either to see the S/L THE GUNSLINGER sold by itself. It seems to be most commonly sold in a set. Although there is a copy on sale on Ebay right now. Will be interesting to see what it sells for.
great stuff juliana!
congrats.......
brian..
Firstly, I apologise for the poor quality photos taken with my phone. These arrived on Friday and I am really pleased to have them.
Very nice Alan. I'm not a collector of S/L books but I love the looks of both of these additons. Congrats.
Nice new additions! I MISS buying S/Ls! I can't wait until I get my money back on track so I can blow it all on ink and paper again!
Great new additions Alan !

Congrats on the new acquisitions, guys!
The TALISMAN S/L and the EOTD S/L. are sweet.
I've been looking for a decent Uk Danse Macabre for a while- finally managed to pick one up. The book in in great condition and the DJ isn't too bad - some small tearing at the top of the spine. Some of the weird marks are just the reflection from the Brodart.
Looking good, Clacke. It's a hard one to find in decent condition and for me it was one of those books that gave me a real sense of accomplishment when I got my copy. Congratulations!
Thank you Bob & Michael! I have to say when I was reading the seller's description of the condition of the book I was thinking that it was too good to be true, but it turns out it was dead on!
Alan - Love that S/L Talisman that you picked up from David, that one's on my wishlist as well.
P.S. Just went over 500 posts, I guess I must be serious about this whole collecting thing :-) Damn you Stephen King!

FOUND a glass and mirror display case in an abandoned work building on base. I cleaned it up, and put my S/Ls in it. I like it a lot.
And ... my new artwork. I normally post my new additions for the week at the end of the week, but I'm pretty excited about this one:
"Snake Eyes" by Alan M. Clark, from Full Dark, No Stars (Cemetery Dance):
