Is that the jacket?

That it is. The dust jacket art is by my brother, so it's bit difficult to be completely objective. I like it, to the extent that I think it's possible to like any piece of abstract art (i.e., not really my thing). I'll reserve judgment on how well it serves as a dust jacket until I actually see it. I do know that Shannon is quite fond of it, though, as he mentions it pretty often.
OK......thanks.

Although now that I've had a chance to compare to the original version, I think it works better than I was expecting it to. The colors look a little better, and I think the folding does focus the eye a little better. Also, it's a bit unfair to call it "abstract", as there is actual concrete content in the picture which isn't entirely visible in Merlin's photo.
Amateur Art Criticism Ahead!
Back on topic, I like that "New Tales of the Cthulhu Mythos". I just read "Lovecraft: A Look Behind the Cthulhu Mythos", which went into great detail about the founding of Arhkam House. It was fascinating reading, especially since it was written in the early 1970s.
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Nice! That's a hard one to get at a reasonable price.
I first read this book when I was 11 or 12 years old, my Aunt gave it to me as a Birthday present even though my parents were against me reading "that stuff" at a younger age. Being my first SK experience, my mind was blown!!! Ever since I started seriously collecting SK books, about 10 years ago, I have wanted this edition. Thankfully I was able to strike up an awesome deal with our very own Shibus, and now it is finally mine!!!!
And that is how it is sitting on my book shelf until I figure out a sweet way to display it. Best Christmas present I have ever given myself!!!
Congratulations! One of almost everyone's holy grails!

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Love it when I see this book added to people's collections! Nice one!
Jerome, you read my mind...right after I set up the purchase of this book I started thinking about displaying it and I remembered that you had posted that solution. Thank you for saving me some time searching for it!!! IIRC, didn't you have an insert made for the bottom of the book so the weight of the page block didn't pull on the binding? Sorry if my terminology is a bit off...
I'm still looking for a "Single Letter" edition of this, if anyone wants to sell me one. Preferably letter A, B or C.
Now that's a new level of desire for me. Not just a lettered, but a single letter. Nice.
Puts my gift SoD in its place! Awesome aquisition at_one !!!
