"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

Yeah, Australia gets UK editions, generally (although often printed locally). What surprised me about this edition is the purple cover - I didn't realize WH Smith did purple trade paperbacks in the UK, or that Australia got them (no WH Smith there).
The "standard" edition in Australia is the blue-ish UK cover in trade paperback. First time I've seen a purple cover.

I can't really speak to that. I hate PB's, won't buy 'em, won't collect 'em!! lol lol It's a long story. lol
FWIW, I generally get the W.H. Smith editions and they are usually of a purple theme. They;re sort of a "WTF" purchase cause I have a near complete U.K. collection as well as U.S. Anyway they're nothing really special about them, IMHO

There doesn't seem to be anyplace to discuss the book itself unless I'm missing it. I'm assuming most here have had a chance to read it by now. Interested in how it is being received. Maybe there should be a drinking game for each time TCM and AA is mentioned?

I’m reading FT now and have a question for anyone who’s finished it: how much does he give away about Something Wicked This Way Comes? I’m 180 pages into FT and he’s already mentioned a few things about it, and since I’ve never read SWTWC but plan to this year, I want to avoid knowing the whole thing going in.
