The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
It was a different time. By today's standards EVERYONE was a racist to some extent back then. He played a character, entertained millions and is an icon in film regardless of the changing culture. Celebrate what has come to pass and leave the past in the past, but as a reminder of how far society has come. Dwelling on what went on in the past leaves less time for working on the future, no?
I look at it like we are reminded to look at Auschwitz. 'Lest we forget" I believe is the gist of the quote. IMHO Cancel Culture doesn't accomplish anything useful. That energy could be better spent actually affecting change. IDK that's just the way I try to look at it.

I got lots more on my lists too. Time for a great musical that High Jackman will reprise soon on Broadway. Robert Preston is great, and Shirley Jones (Partridge Family) was one of my early crushes because of this one. And Buddy Hackett is great - I have another one with him in it coming soon.
