Very optimistic price:
Stephen King THE STAND #904 of only 1250 made FINE/FINE RARE Signed Limited S/L
Funny - about four years ago, I sold a Stand for $2500 to a UK buyer. Optimistic, but not impossible.
And his beginning price has been dropped by $100. He had it listed and it didn't sell by auction close yesterday so he relisted it.
Currently $4:
It by Stephen King (1986, Hardcover), UK Edition
LSOE WITH REMARQUE
BAH HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA
Anyone who pays a $500 premium for a doodle that took Whelan less than two minutes is a chump.

Signed 1st Edition of Storm of The Century (Paperback)
Would that be considered a true remarque? I heard all these stories that even though Grant said Whelan did like 30-40 remarques for the LSOE, that none seem to have come into existence.
It's a doodle at best....not a remarque.

Pat Cramer is a pretty good guy. I have bought from him several times in the past and met him once in Dallas at a Peter Straub signing. I think his prices tend towards the high side pretty often but I know that he will discount them sometimes if you buy from him directly rather than through ABE. He is trustworthy.
I haven't heard from Pat in quite a while, but I'm with carlosdetweiller -- a good guy and definitely trustworthy.
Author of The Road to the Dark Tower, Stephen King: A Complete Exploration of His Work, Life, and Influences and The Dark Tower Companion. Co-editor with Stephen King of the anthology Flight or Fright.
I agree that it's a bit high in today's market. Not impossible, but a bit unrealistic for $2600 BIN at least.
Not to steal anybody's thunder here is that is their auction but it reminds me that my friend still has her copy of the signed/# STAND coffin box up for grabs I posted a while back here. She's not far down the road from me by Astoria and I have seen the book before in person a while back (she used to have her own store and did a lot of ebay stuff in the past and is very trustworthy - i'll stake my rep on it). She sent me photos and I can post them here when I get a chance later or email them. She though it was closer to mint, but discovered a couple light scratches on the back of the case and a light ding to one corner of the book. Other than that she's just opened the cover up a couple of times to look at the sig and # and says it it's very nice shape. She's bumped the price down to $1700 OBO due to the minor defects discovered (and we had two interested parties who backed out but offered $1600 plus shipping so I know she'll go to that on it). Drop me a PM if intersted.

Everybody has to start somewhere. Although if this person is a collector, they might increase their credibility by posting an extra photo of their bookcase or something like some sellers do (weathervane7, for example). Also some assurance about how the book will be packed for shipping would be advisable.
That seller also has listed a CHRISTINE S/L.
