I checked to see if I wanted to spend the $35 BIN, but none of the 18 mags had naked girls. No nekkidness = no sale!
I remember someone saying they wanted DT read by king

$6 is a good price.
Not that I'm bidding, but what does everything think about this item? - http://cgi.ebay.com/STEPHEN-KING-sig...item3cb1f11282
I purchased one that came with a On Writing copy for 50 bucks.
Wanted list:

Legit, but way overpriced IMO.
This collecting stuff is a sickness! ~Patrick
For $199 I want more than a computer generated note with a signature on it! :-)
DT Spoiler - Enter at your own risk!
Spoiler:
I agree - I'd just never seen that before. Pretty strange that it is worded "the card is computer generated. The signature is real." To me, that would scream fake, but I guess it is legit.
I've seen those before...$50 is about right...$199 is much too high.
King used those to get rid of the waiting list in his office for signed books. In 2001 if you were on the waiting list to send in a couple of books for signatures you were sent, instead, one of those flyers and an explanatory letter stuck inside a copy of the trade edition of BLACK HOUSE. I doubt it made many happy but, apparently, the waiting list was too long and managing it had gotten too cumbersome. At least the ones on the list did get real signatures.
The "complete" collector's package should include the signed flyer, the accompanying explanatory letter and the copy of BLACK HOUSE in which they were sent.
King may have used those flyers for other purposes if there were leftovers but, to my best recollection, that was their original purpose.
Here is a photo of the letter that came with the book and flyer. The signature on the letter is NOT an original.
Thanks for all of that information - I tell ya, you could write a book explaining just about everything related to King collectibles. I know I'd buy a copy :-)
That was a pretty generous way for King to break the news.
Umney's Last Case ending soon and currently at $9.50
To add to this.....
These were made in two different sizes.
One was bookmark-shaped.
One was postcard-shaped.
I actually have three of these....two of the postcard-shaped versions and one of the bookmark-shaped version.
I would sell one of my postcard-shaped versions for $100....half of what the guy on ebay is selling his for.

I recently won a Lettered From a Buick 8 for under $1000. Thought that was pretty good!
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
I saw that on ebay. It's a PC copy.
