LOST--watch out for **SPOILERS**

We had a great time watching last night, I love all the stuff coming out.

Seeing the smoke monster really up close that way (wrapped around the guys shoulders)--seemed more solid than ever. And the sounds it was making, very cool

I didn't even notice. Sucks i went and deleted the show from my DVR other wise I could go back and check.

There IS such a thing as too many twists! I just don't care any more because we will NEVER get answers!

Well as a newbie to the show (only in season 2 ) I like it!

although what I'm most curious about (and dont tell me please) is what disease danielle and desmond were referring to when they talked about people "getting sick" hmmmm

I love how Lost doesn't get stuck in a rut.

First couple of seasons we had the flash back, then they started with the flash forwards.

Now we have time travel. So instead of doing a Russo flash back, we get to see it "live" in a time travel situation.

It was good to see the Smoke Monster back but this time it apparently did something to the frenchmen other than just kill them. And Russeau shooting up the place. She didn't change much in 16 years now did she!

I loved how they showed a little bit of the temple.

I must have totally missed this. Was this in the very beginning? the show was taped for me, and I caught it right after the opening scene, like where they flash the names of the actors, creators etc....

So about the Smoke monster. Is it "released" whenever ben/the others want to and just when someone is trying to reach the temple? or Do you think it has a mind of it's own (what do you think the point was of taking the pilot in the first few episodes?)

I think it has tasks that it carries out independently of outside influence, such as protecting the temple, but there are also times when it will "listen" to an individual under certain circumstances.

it was the garden of eden with adam and eve, and the smoke monster was the snake...and the temple was eden I believe, are all of you under that assumption too or do you have your own personal ideas/no clue?

Was I the only one creeped out when the french guy, who, after having his arm ripped off by a smoke monster sounded all calm from within the pit the monster had pulled him into?

I would have sounded like this.....

AHHHHHHH! A fucking monster just ripped off my arm! Oh god it hurts! Get your asses down here and save me! I am dying here! (think Reseviour dogs when Tim Roth is screaming that he is dying).

No way I would have gone down there after him if I heard that calm, creepy voice.

Does anyone ever read Jeff Jensen's recaps of the episodes? He has a few predictions but he has way more theories based on connections to the names of the characters. If the people behind Lost really put this much effort in alluding to certain scientific theories and themes through names then they are crazy but super-smart. I want to know how Jensen has enough time to research all of this. See the most recent one as an example:

Did anyone watch the repeat of last weeks episode, The Little Prince? They always put the little tidbits about certain scenes for the viewers. I am really curious about Claire's birth scene that Sawyer witnessed.
Originally, Jin and Charlie were there to see it as Kate delivered Aaron. When Sawyer saw it, those two didn't appear to be around. What gives? Any ideas?

If we ever see Charlotte's mom and she turns out looking somewhat like Juliet, you're probably right.
I don't remember very well, but isn't the reason why Benjamin liked Juliet so much because he looked like a woman he cared very deeply about?
Maybe Charlotte's mom is that little blond girl that used to play with Ben when he was little and lived in the island with the Dharma Initiative.

I think Charlotte's mom was that cute and spunky chick (who i believe had an English accent) that took Daniel to the Hydrogen Bomb (aka Jughead). Remember how Daniel was staring at her, telling her that she looked familiar to him?
