What is the record for the most money raised by a single auction so far?

I'll have to look back carefully, but a quick search shows a Duma Key with a Maitz remarque that was signed by Stephen King. $1.5K

Maybe the 'Salem's Lot CD Proof that sold last year? $1.6k?

Do you think this was a one time occurence or would another copy of the proof garner a similar amount?

My gut feel is that it was a one-time occurrence. I'd estimate similar sales would be in the $500-600 range for the more common of the two CD ARCs.

Not ever seeing one sold, it's just a guess, but I'd say $1000-1200.
