    Default Book Collection: Sovereign

    Hello everyone!

I'm a budding collector with relatively few items at the moment (besides reading copies). I collect other authors aside from King, but they are all fiction. Bodybuilding is also a passion of mine, so I try to get my hands on related memorabilia. I'll post photos as I go, but at the moment by items are scattered, as I'm in the process of building a library/display room specifically for my collection.

Hope you all enjoy! I know it's no mind blowing collection like some of the others out there, but I'm on a student's budget.

Thanks! I have more stuff, but all of this is stored in random places while renovations are taking place, so they'll be added slowly.

Nice collection. I like the display case you have your books in. It makes everything look very sharp.

I much prefer the aesthetics of the "golden age" bodybuilders than that of the modern day bodybuilders.
Did you get to meet all these guys when you got their autographs? I've always admired Frank Zane.
Looking forward to seeing more of your collection!

Thanks everyone! The case doesn't look bad, but it's temporary while I have some bookcases and showcases built, or find good deals on some. I much preferred classic bodybuilders (they're having a classic division at the Mr Olympia next year), but I still admire today's bodybuilders for their dedication. The Franco Columbu was not signed in person, but the others were.

Looks very nice so far! If your case gets any sun, watch out for those Eyes of the Dragon so they don't fade!

I plan on buying some UV protectant film for my windows, because I'll have quite a few glass showcases going in.

Another piece from my collection; Michael Whelan signed/numbered poster of The Crimson King. It's number 199 (1+9+9=19). Ignore the background calamity, as what will be my library is under intense renovations.

I actually got them for 5$ Canadian each, by searching locally for people selling used books.

1st/1st Bazaar of Bad Dreams (New), 1st/1st Song of Susannah, 1st/1st Gerald's Game, 1st/1st Hearts in Atlantis, 1st/1st the Regulators, 1st/1st The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon. With the exception of Bazaar of Bad Dreams, they are all used (but in vg+ to nf shape) and bought at a local bookstore. Sadly they wrote their discount prices on the first blank page of the book, however. Other than that, I'm happy with this little purchase, as it only cost me about 35$ for the lot.
