"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
I hope it's set into the recess in the slipcase as it looks to be in the picture.
$17.21 (spot price of silver per ounce) x 0.127 ounces = $2.19 worth of silver.
Yes, I know. I am being a dick. Save your reputation comments.

I decided to get it. I have most of the UK limited ed's so can't stop now.
I am not going to get it right now. Maybe in a year or two.
I got one. I'm still in the relatively early stages of my King illness.

I have to agree with you Bob... I find myself not buying many editions right off the get go... Not so much the S/L's but more so the GE's... I find for the most part they sell for less down the road. I would be far behind dollar wise had I bought them as they came out. There are some (like IT) that are much higher... but I agree with you on this for sure. I am waiting.

EDIT: Regarding the Airport Edition:
There IS an Airport edition. I confirmed this whilst in Australia. (they had it in the airport there but it was labelled "printed in Australia").
I didn't buy it as it would have meant it getting bashed about in my travel case and I *assumed* the UK airport would have it as well. Unfortunately that was not the case. I will be in and out of other airports over the next few weeks and will still keep an eye out for it.

Thanks Simon! You're fantastic....
Does the airport edition look the same as the UK 1st?
