I thought the second What If episode wasn't as good as the first, but still very very good and fun! I just absolutely loved Captain Carter! I really hope the rumors are true she's coming to live action in Doctor Strange 2.
I can’t do cartoons. I tried… with Star Wars and with this. I wish I could but it’s a no go for me

You know, Kris I was very much like you until recently. The animation style is better than "Clone Wars" IMO. And the Marvel stuff is very good as well, naturally. Plus, with the Marvel stuff its all canon & must see material. So even though I still generally dislike animation (and no, I don't have a particular reason for disliking it.) I've been watching, "Bad Batch" and "What If". Maybe because they are leading up to live action stuff in the near future. Maybe try and force yourself. lol

Interesting that they have Gemma Chan playing a completely different character in 2 different MCU movies.
It's definitely something they've done before but that was mostly an actor simply doing a voice for different character or it was a really minor/unnamed character.
She was a pretty significant character in Captain America.
Hearts are tough, she said, most times hearts don't break, and I'm sure that's right . . . but what about then? What about who we were then? What about hearts in Atlantis?
I'm also annoyed that every time I see that one guy I think Bucky is in Eternals!
The new Spider-Man LOOKS INSANE. Wow.

I haven't read the comics so maybe this has been answered but at least as far as the MCU goes, why is it so important for Peter Parker to keep his identity a secret? Literally none of the other avengers keep their regular identity hidden.
Everyone knows Stark is/was Iron Man. Steve Rogers was Captain America. Scott Lang is Ant Man. Hell Dr. Strange simply uses his real name/title. Why is Spider-Man so different?

Besides the fact that he is technically a vigilante and could go to jail, it's so that his enemies can't go after those that he loves; Aunt May, MJ, etc. Stark could hire bodyguards for his friends and family. Rogers didn't have anyone. Strange doesn't really either. Lang's mentor and girlfriend had to go into hiding from all the trouble he caused them.
It also kept his friends and family's lives simpler. You see all the trouble they now have to deal with in the trailer.
Iron Man's identiy was a secret for decades in the comics. Not sure about Scott Lang.
Spider-man was a teen, and not part of any team, although he tried to join the FF and the avengers early on. It was probably 30 years of comics before he became an Avenger I think. He was always concerned what his enemies would do to those he loved, but he didn't have to support of other superheroes. Plus J. Johah Jameson was constantly trying to blame spider-man for crimes he stopped and had police officers constantly trying to arrest him. For a long time he was blamed for the death of Gwen Stacy.

Like I said, maybe it makes more sense in the comics but in the MCU it kinda doesn't. He's obviously been accepted into the Avengers. He could probably ask Nick Fury for help if he actually needed to.
I get the whole just wanting to live a normal life and everything but it's kinda like becoming famous at a young age. You don't get to live a normal life anymore. Although somehow Hawkeye is managing it in the MCU...
Anyway it's a small nitpick that just happened to cross my mind while watching the new trailer. Looking forward to seeing the new movie.

Bingo. This is pretty much it.
Stark had billion dollar toys to keep him and his family safe. Strange has a magical stronghold. Cap had the backing of the government, then was traveling the world with a lethal A.I and omega level mutant having his back. Pete is just a kid that lives in an apartment with his aunt. His secret identity is most valuable to him.
This looks really good. I can not wait to see it. But some people are saying that Shang Chi and the 10 rings ranks up there as one of the best Marvel movies ever. I am excited to see that
as well but I will wait for it to come on 4k BR so I can watch it at home.

I thought Shang-Chi was awesome. When people say it's one of the best Marvel movies, I would agree. So excited for what comes next.
Shang Chi was fantastic. Did so many things very well - the pacing, acting, score, villain, action. It was just a very well rounded film and I'm glad to see that Marvel can still deliver a (mostly) self contained film in a post-Endgame world.
