I purchased a copy of Joyland that was signed by Stephen King from leakycauldron on eBay. Meanwhile I purchased the slipcase from CD. The seller was less than careful in packaging the Joyland and so it arrived damaged. I notified him and he replaced it with this copy.
More from CD
This is a really nice book. It doesn't come with a signature but it is certainly worthy of one.
Nice one. I don't have very many upgraded books but out of the ones I have this may be my favorite. Good score.
Great new additions Brian - the G/E Grant Desperation is a fantastic production isn't it ??
We all float down here!
Awesome additions!
It's a fantastic book.
The production value is fantastic. I'm looking at my other gift/artist editions and it is the nicest. Every aspect of the book and slipcase epitomizes quality. In all honesty it makes some of the others look a little cheesy.
Thanks Ben. I'm getting there slowly but slowly.
So the mailman brought me four boxes today. As I was extricating my treasures the dog started barking and there was the mailman again with yet another box.

Awaiting the unpacking with anticipation Brian (I see you've already posted some goodies over on the P&J thread - nice)

Working in reverse. Doctor Sleep Gift Edition by PS Publishing. They did a great job packing it. Multiple layers of bubble wrap in a boxful of "peanuts".

Those are exceptionally nice looking volumes.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...
Hey Br!an, was it a full moon when you posted those pics? Where's that Silver Bullet Paperweight when you need one!!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Brilliant acquisitions Br!an - the Mister October, in particular, seriously rocks !!!

that Doctor Sleep is gorgeous!
Thanks. They certainly are. I'm very happy with both.
Damn High Resolution camera!
It’s really cool. Glenn is a drawing fool! I've certainly increased my author/artist signature collection!!!
It's a really nice production. Not bad for the low end Chinese gift edition.
Great new acquisitions, Mister October is supernice !!!

Did you get a shipping notice for Mister October? I ordered quite a while ago and haven't heard anything. I have read the ebook version that came with the S/L and enjoyed it very much. Nearly all the stories were great.
That looks like a great set of books!
All great looking books but I love the Mister October and illustrations. Very nice.
Very nice additions!
I'm very pleased.
No I didn't. I had emailed Christopher and he mentioned that the books should be in soon. Three days later it was here. You need to check with him.
They did a great job in a short time with the Mister October without going overboard. The Doctor Sleep gift edition is better than I had hoped.
There are a lot of illustrations. Chadbourne did a bunch and even Clive Barker contributed. Pretty awesome show of support for Rick and his widow.
Thanks Ben. I'm very please with both.
