Although I already posted elsewhere my Carrie Artist case courtesy of Mr. Olson has to go into my collection thread too:
Nice case. You can carry CARRIE carefully in it if you care to.
I'm sure if there is intelligent life somewhere out there in the universe, they are wise enough to stay away from us.
And the people bowed and prayed, to the cell phone god they made...

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Terrible, stick to book collecting.
May I humbly suggest some Rachel Readman art to compliment that marvelous Dolso case (difficult to come across due to exclusivity, but well worth the hunt)

I would honestly like to have Michael Whelan work some magic for me and I may approach the subject with him once we get over all this Crimson King stuff we have to work through.

I love your collection! Especially your art! Well done!

OK it been such a long time since I said I would show the shelves here and I never got around to it. After some prompting from Zelig, here are the new custom bookcases I got with all my books in situ. These pics don't include my King/DT bookcase with my 'proper' collection in it. That will take me some time to go through and take photos of everything, so I'll do that another time, perhaps next weekend...
Full Height and width shots:

Wonderful Rachel! Thanks for posting all the pics! I like the dragon on the top of that one bookcase, and also like how your paperbacks are well read! The Ken Follett books look great too, I'm a fan. Look forward to seeing the rest of the King books.
Love the Dickens set? Is it complete?
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Thanks everyone. As you can see I do a lot of reading and I'm quite varied in my tastes. My paperbacks are well read and multiple times but treasured as much as any of my collectible copies. Need more shelves so I can house more.
Ahh my cute dragon. He's a hand puppet. Little monster looks after my studio/library for me.
Ken Follet is great. I started out with Pillars of the Earth and enjoyed it so much I picked up the others. The TV series of PotE was really good too.
