    I'm in love with the origional ones as well as TNG. I tried whatching Enterprise (one episode) and i ended up turning it off after like 10 minuets. It seemed like they tried to hard to "hip up" the show. Kinda seemed like they tried being cool and then failed horribly.
    Although I do have a question about the 8th movie (First Contact) and I'm not sure when that movie corresponds with the series and such. Like, if I were to finish a season on TNG, when would I whatch the movie?
    By the way, I'm so sorry if that made no sense at all.

    You would watch First contact after the last episode of tng.. it takes place a few years later, and there are books to fill in the gaps (a time to love, a time to hate, etc., - there's like 9 of them) but I don't think you need to read the books to make sense of it.

    And actually back to the Enterprise thing, I just didnt' like how much time travel there was. I wanted them to seek out new civilizations not just keep skipping through time!!!!

    I met my husband because of a "Classic vs. Next Gen." argument I was having with someone else. I was of the oppinion that Next Gen was best, the random guy I was talking to was a Classic trekkie. I asked the man who ended up being my husband what he thought. He didn't agree with me. Turns out not much has changed over the years.

    I chose Next Gen in the poll because I was right then and I'm still right, dammit!!
