Hm, well, it's not the greatest movie, either, but they changed the last part, I was just curious what you'd think of that version. Maybe we should talk more on a different thread. Anyhow, for me, this novel is still one of my least favorite, bright points not withstanding.

I first saw the movie and thought it was terrible... Really terrible! But I really liked the book :-)

It's not his worst book but definitely in my bottom 10.
I loved the characters in this book. The under story was rich. This is one of my favorites.

Eh, well, that makes some sense, but if you can't rank them perfectly yet, your chance will come in Round 2.
Considered between 1 and 2 and went with 2. The story was whack and the Duddits character seemed like a Tom Cullen re-hash.
Never read. The movie was decent though, although a little all over the place.

Not bad. So, you've read around roughly 40-50% of his works and it looks like the entire DT series. You should set your sites on completing ALL his works, except for "Faithul" and pursue it like your collecting. In fact, maybe a self imposed rule that you can't collect it until you have read it or, scheduled it to be read? What ya think?
