Some day I will get to Paris. For now I just settle for San Francisco. Great pics.

Most tourists arrive in a big bus and get dropped off in front of an 'attraction', get 15 minutes to take some generic pics and 5 minutes to drink awfully expensive crap-coffee at a nearby pub, and are then taken to the next hotspot. We walked an additional 200 m and got beautiful shots, drank great and affordable coffee at the pubs where the locals go, and didn't have to bother with large groups of people walking in front of our cameras.

Wow! Those are some great pictures, Michaël!
Okay, a few more (just some random shots, only one or two 'big' and well-known buildings in there I think):

Nice pics., Michael! I always like looking at your travel photos. What type of camera do you use?
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Thank you! These were actually made with my iPhone... and I have a small and old Canon Ixus compact camera that I used on some of my other trips. Very basic stuff but I can usually get some nice pics.
Wow, I didn't know the iPhones took such high quality photos.
A NEW GAME BEGINS
Just got caught up on the last couple pages of this thread. Great to see everyone's families and travels!
Daughter got her first car today. She worked hard for it, flipping burgers!
With my bike-
That is awesome for her, Aaron! I bet she is thrilled to death.
Congratulations to her!

My annual trip to Mecca. Yankee Stadium, Old Timers Day, July 1.
That is a very cool looking photo. I love how they have the banners running along the radius interior wall.
Just discovered this thread. Some great pics in here.
I make a point of visiting the oldest cemetery in the area whenever we travel. These are from Maine 2010 - the day after the FDNS book signing in Portsmouth.
And this is our favorite vacation sport. A little game called Death Tube.
Four or five tubes with five or six people. The tubers jump from one tube to the other leaving tubes free flying.
The free flying tubes are unpredictable and can hit anything at any time
And the end result
Another vacation favorite the lake at Dusk
Great photos. "Death Tube" would certainly not be my thing however it looks fun.
Bob, you look like you can't think of a single better place to be.
Death tube does look fun, but for my barely able to swim enough to save my life self, it's probably not a good idea.
I love old cemetaries though.
