Mine are currently being looked after by other collectors, whilst I await my lottery win...
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King

Just wondering in terms of displaying slipcased books is there any advantage to having the book spine facing out or vice versa in terms of protecting it? I have them in a bookcase facing away from a window fwiw.

I am trying to not lose track of the SK books that are signed. When I go, I want to make it easy for my wife to know which books are signed and which are not!!
I try to keep my signed trades on separate shelves from the unsigned ones but shelf space doesnt always permit it. But I got a roll of these and put them all on my signed editions (on the spine and front cover - on the mylar not directly on the DJ) so not only can I quickly see the signed editions but my bene's can too.

If direct sunlight is not an issue I usually go with whatever looks best on the shelf.

I would hope that whatever way you display our books, they are not in direct sunlight.

That said, I always display mine book spine out.

Sometimes if I am concerned the page block is starting to lean a bit, I will go ahead and flip the DJ upside down, so the DJ is displayed correctly, but the book inside of it is upside down.

If the back spine of the slipcase has the book title on it, then I face that to the front. If not, then the spine of the book goes to the front.

That's a tough one, mainly because the prints almost never show up. The Collector made a total of 200 of the cases, so those are fairly scarce also. I'd say somewhere in the $500-750 range.

I would be willing to let go of mine in that range.
