It was obviously someone in Alexandria on the walkie. I figured if Glenn was alive it would be Enid that found him. Not a fan of how they did it. Would have been more believable if someone heard the gunfire and drew the walkers away so he could get under the dumpster.

Very curious to see how the finale plays out and how similar it is to the comics. I do like the building falling through the wall though. That was very well done. The episode wae fine except for how Glenn survived. It set up the finale very well. People may be very impatient waiting for episode 9. A lot happens at this stage in the comics including several landscape changing events. Was one of the best plotlines in the comics and have loved how they've adapted it so far.

You should read the comics, they're very good I was never a comic reader. I've only read that and Locke & Key. But I definitely got sucked right into it. I just finished vol 18. I have a few more, and hoping to get the remaining few that I have missing for Christmas and then I'll be all caught up.

I am wondering if Jessie will die since Andrea isn't around to become his wife after this point. The one thing they must rectify from the comics is Morgan's death here. Morgan on the TV show is waaay better than Morgan in the comics, and after he joined the group all he did was mope and cry until he died...he had no real impact on anything. He needs a great death if they are going to kill him off. And if Glenn dies in the comics, the impact will be awesome on those totally ignorant of how he goes out in the comics, especially have mourning him for a month already lol

Yes, I've been wondering if Carl is going to get shot as well. I'd love to see him loose an eye I was also wondering about Jessie and if she would now take over comic Andrea's role. I think I'll be ok with that. And I wonder about Glenn as well. I'm sure they'll have him go out like in the comics. They definitely picked good point for the mid-season finale.

Based on previous seasons I am betting we absolutely see the death of Morgan. The hour and a half solo episode is classic WD treatment of a character before he is offed. Especially one that hasn't been a main character. They gave both Beth and Bob way more screen time right before offing them. I would also argue that Morgan is still a whiner just a different kind of whiner and I can't see him moving on the way he is. I am going to guess that he will actually be taken out in some way by the Wolf (alive or dead) that he is trying to convert. I 100% agree that Jessie will likely survive and take the Andrea role. Seems like an easy change.

Like most people here, I had a feeling right from the start that Glenn was still alive. I'm kind of surprised that they revealed it so early in the episode and without much fanfare.

I would have liked them to keep it a secret a little longer. Maybe play with the timeline some more. How about an episode focusing on Enid. She finds the balloons. When the Alexandria people see the balloons, they think it's Glenn, but we assume it's just Enid. The Alexandria crew rushes to find Glenn after seeing the balloons. They get trapped and things aren't looking good until Enid and GLENN!! save the day.

It would have eliminated the interaction between Glenn and Enid, which was unnecessary and kind of annoying. I know it's just me, but that's how you reveal a character is still alive. Yes, many people would be mad because we didn't get to see how Glenn survived, but that might not be the worst thing because once we realize how he did it, it's so ridiculous that most people are going to be pissed anyway.

If you really wanted to, you could show a quick flashback of him crawling under the dumpster. Hell, they could have even put it in black and white just so people don't get confused. I know how much they love that.

When Rob started following Carl and pulled out the gun I literally let out a huge scream. God I hope the comic scene happens. I have a feeling it might since it is a mid season finale. Of course the tv producers could be a bunch of pussies and have nothing happen. As for Glenn being saved I swore a certain comic character was gonna save him and then show up at Alexandria with Glenn and be introduced to the show that way.

I'm just rewatching episode 7 before the finale tonight and I've gotta say that Enid and her whole storyline is just brutally boring. It's hard to make a character that you care so little about that you actually hate her. If I had just one Walking Dead wish for tonight's episode, it would be for her, Carl, Ron, and Morgan to be fed into a wood chipper. I figured I'd throw the other 3 in there with her because they're no prizes either.
