I Googled it and apparently you can write any amount you on want on said cheque and buy everything in the world! Why haven't I done this sooner?!? My collection would be better that Bob's and Alec's!

You know, I just realized that I never posted any pics of my inscribed Authors Copy of The Drawing of The Three. I only posted the inscription.
I like the fact that it is dated and the date is the year of publication. According to The Collector, there are only 40 of these out there.
So it is signed on the limitation page and the Inscribed plus signed and dated on another page.



So that's it.
Earlier in the thread, we established that "Kay Bird" was the wife of King's publisher at the time.

Plus, I leaned that what I bought from Ralph is on it's way, so maybe next week if I am lucky. I hope people enjoy it.

Thanks Steve. When I bought it there was no indication that it was a S\L, let alone a copy owned by King. I just thought it was a regular DOTT that was signed by King.
I was quite surprised.

Thanks and yep. It was one of the first signed books I ever bough way back in the day. Only there was no mention of this being a S\L one, and no mention of an inscription if I remember correctly. Only that it was signed. I already had my 3-7 set so I wanted this to at least have some sort of 2-7 S\L Dark tower collection, even though it wasn't matching. It's still a S\L so in my mind that makes it count. But the fact that it is an authors copy and the fact it has that wonderful inscription, I would probably never part with it. It' just too unique.
