The "twin" Bachman Books features Rage by Rachel Readman:
I like it, Rachel!
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
She nailed the inside looking out view from the locker. Completely different take on the story.
She is a really good artist. I especially noticed the hands. I've heard hands are really hard to draw. Those look like real hands.
I was able to get the less common one signed by Stephen King. Hope his signature adds some value to the ARC! It was not my copy. I did it for a friend. He was able to get 5 arcs signed in a single week.
CD Blockade Billy Rare White Cover
CD Salems Lot
oblong proof (rare copy) of Salems LOt.
Carrie and something else.
needless to say, he was pretty excited!
"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
The Doubleday Proof of Salems if I am correct... Not sure I would have had that signed though unless done so back then... in fact I know I would not. I think Glenn mentioned earlier that it was Matt (Lot Guy is my guess) who had these signed...
HELP ME FIND
Insomnia #459
ANY S/L #459
Matt knows how to get King to sign books! Lucky!!!
The Long Walk by Glenn Chadbourne:
I like the perspective, texture and coloring.
"...that Siren which called and sang and promised so much and gave, after all, so little." ~ Ray Bradbury
Less enamoured by this one- seems too zombie-esque.
Then I suppose the participants of the Long Walk were literally 'the walking dead'...

Roadwork by Darek Kocurek:
Wow! You would almost swear that's a photograph.
Incredible!

Signature in book #2 of the Bachman Books project.
Very very nice early King signature,
Very nice! Also I appreciate your Integrity RF, as both books were rebound, it would have been so easy to switch the CP pages and have the signed one appear as the 1st printing. Keeping them original keeps a nice balance between the books.

Both books were purchased from my personal collection for the fundraiser.
Dragline : Nothin'. A handful of nothin'. You stupid mullet head. He beat you with nothin'. Just like today when he kept comin' back at me - with nothin'.
Luke : Yeah, well, sometimes nothin' can be a real cool hand.
