I broke the lens on my phone so I couldn't take any. My GF took a few. When she recovers , I'll post them.
Simon took several. I'm sure he'll post when he can. He had to work today the poor bastard.
Other members took some too. We were just short of closing down the bar, so everyone is no doubt a bit tired today.
I will say that a good time was had by all. We met at The Pub and had drinks. Then we had appetizers and drinks. Then we had dinner and drinks. After dinner we went to Lafayette's to listen to the band and have more drinks.
The company was very pleasurable and the conversation was very interesting.

A HUGE thank you to everyone that turned up, it was really great to see both Brian and Ken again and also to meet up with members I hadn't met before. A thoroughly enjoyable evening, despite being jet lagged from almost circumnavigating the globe over the last 2 days...
Special thanks to Brian for being my US postal service and Im glad I got the opportunity to return the favour. (dont forget to send me the address!). Here are the photos I took:
Earlier in "The Pub" before Neil (LookWhoItIs) arrived:
Brian and partner Lisa
Jim and wife Deanna
Neil has arrived!
I sat next to Jim (EXPLORER) and could have listened to his collecting tales all night!

"A real limited edition, far from being an expensive autograph stapled to a novel, is a treasure. And like all treasures do, it transforms the responsible owner into a caretaker, and being a caretaker of something as fragile and easily destroyed as ideas and images is not a bad thing but a good one...and so is the re-evaluation of what books are and what they do that necessarily follows." - Stephen King
Great pics! I see some familiar faces there. Jim does have some good stories. Looks like a good time was had by all. Thanks for posting the pics.

The Houston Astros cheated Major League Baseball from 2017-18!!!! Is that how we teach our kids to play the game now?????
Glad you all had a great time!
When you move from sharing posts or messages in forums online to sharing time and tales with some very interesting and fun people who have familiar interests always provides for a fabulous experience.
Last night was one of those experiences with great individuals who could relate to our collecting obsessions way more understanding than many we know who just look at us as "strange" when we talk of King.
We were glad to finally meet a few new people face to face and always enjoy the others we have shared time with before....
Yes it was a great time with a great group!
We shall not cease from exploration and the end of all our exploring
will be to arrive where we started and know the place for the first time.

LAS VEGAS....JUNE?
Spoiler:
I wish... I'll be in North Carolina instead.
I'm planning to go if possible.
I recall from another thread that quite a few people like the idea of a Vegas meet up.
"One day you're going to figure out that everything they taught you was a lie."
I'm in too. A good excuse to get out of town.
I like the Vegas idea. Timing is my only concern. I'll stay tuned.

If I can wangle this from my end, I'm going to go for it. I'm due a wee trip stateside and it would be great to meet you guys.
We need a firm date(s), and then I will start a Las Vegas dedicated thread.
June 6th is a Monday.
