Haven't read any Barks yet... but it's on my list!
I much prefer his style over Rosa's.
Love Barks, love Rosa.
And Fantagraphics is doing complete collections of both artists!
I'm in Disney heaven!

How does the Gottfredson Mickey Mouse compare, frik?
Or is it a totally different animal?
I keep meaning to read this stuff. I loved the Duck Tales show as a kid...
Well, was not really a Mickey Mouse fan, but the Gottfredson stories are wonderfully inventive and very well drawn.
Think I'm a fan for life now......or at least till the Gottfredson library is complete. many years to go, I hope.

Thanks for your thoughts!
Batman Knightfall 2 - what a great story.
Doom Patrol - page 670 or so, just barely over the half point mark. I've been reading it for two months now.
The Surface #1 (will probably continue)
Starve #1 (not digging Zezelj's art and never have)
Airboy #1 (funny stuff but not my thing)
Descender #4 (still great)
War Stories #9 (another arc just ended, still a big fan)
Is that the Doom Patrol Ominbus?
Hey are you reading the new Marvel Universe stuff?
No luck so far in obtaining this edition:
http://www.idwpublishing.com/product...ntion-variant/
Of course not, because it can only be picked-up in person when attending the san Diego Comic Con. I won't be attending (I'll be in Los Angeles one (!!) day after the con ends, flying in the 13th..), so I won't be able to order it. If anyone reading this can, and is willing to, help out, awesome. If anyone is from San Diego - or anywhere in the West, I can even drop by and pick it up!
Pretty please....

I know..I know...
Don't really know how to answer your question...I just love variants, I guess.
Plus, I thought there would be fewer copies, so, ultimately, one of the rarer editions.
Good news: I managed to order a copy - to be picked up in person..by me...

Great news, frik.
Have fun at the con!
I can't really judge; I also bought a convention variant of the Mike Zeck Artist Edition at HeroesCon this past weekend. Fortunately, I was able to sell enough sketches at the con to cover the cost ($195 -ACK!).
Limited to 100 copies. The one thing that made me pull the trigger on this was that Zeck was there, and there was a private "meet & great" and signing with him after the show for anyone who bought one. SOLD!
I absolutely LOVED his work on The Punisher.
One of four double page fold-outs.
Captain America Annual #8 was one of the first comics that I bought as a kid. Such a great cover!
I apologize for the crappy cell phone pics. They really don't do this book justice.
Frik, IDW's Artist Edition line is amazing. I own about 85% of them. You will be VERY pleased with your Don Rosa volume, I'm sure. Just make sure you have plenty of room in your luggage for your return home! These books are BIG.
Love the artwork you posted: awesome.
I'm sure I'll love the Don Rosa volume - which I will not leave my hands once on board of my plane.
Only three weeks to go...(I hate missing the con)
