The same seller has copy 65/70 of the Talisman listed for $1799 or best offer.
[B] Rare Stephen King Signed Limited Talsiman #65 of 70 copies Signed by 10 Artists
What would be a reasonable offer to make for the 70-copy edition, assuming the books and slipcase are in Fine condition as stated?
I joined in 2009 and I think he quit collecting in 2010. I think it was after he got a Night Shift proof and realized that his collection was as complete as it was going to get, with only super-rare/expensive items left to hunt for. It seems the magic was gone for him.
That's interesting. Do you know what ended up happening to the Night Shift proof?
I think it was consigned and sold through Betts. Maybe it was Mike Pasiuk who got it?
Anyway, this COTW thingy is definitely interesting. I like that it is bound, personally I'm not too keen on the unbound stuff we sometimes see for sale.
Yes, I remember seeing one for sale (COTW) maybe sometime last year...but don't recall if it was from Betts or eBay. I remember wanting to buy it then... I don't really mind too much when it comes to items like this whether it's bound or unbound... I guess I don't have a strong opinion either way... but it's definitely a nice item to have in your collection...
I got the only (that I know of) proof/bound manuscript of Stephen King Goes to the Movies from Kyle back in 2009. I got a few other things too. I'd love to have this COTW, but the price is too much for me.

Here it is in the catalog.
I don't know where Chaos-Consultants gets his information from, but he is full of shit. I have never spoken, nor had dealings with him. Never heard of him before today. Michaël is correct in being surprised. I was too when I read this. The proofs are all fine, and NOT sold.
<------runs the site and is confused by the above.
Yes, you are correct. I was reading some older posts and I found Chaos-Consultants claim that he was in communication with me and that I sold all my proofs. I just wanted to set the record straight that I never communicated with this person, and the proofs are all doing fine. That is not a set I would ever plan on selling. My little boy just turned 1 this Christmas, and while he is not exactly a Constant Reader yet, as he is my only child, I will probably be giving him the set when he gets a bit older.
Must have been some other Ireland collector.

What would a set of these be worth I wonder? I find it fascinating!
