So who's all going to the D.C. event tomorrow?

One report on SKMB
I was very excited that Stephen King is doing a book signing in Maine. I waited in line for tickets this morning and was disappointed to find out that despite every promotional email and flyer I saw regarding the event stating a limit of one ticket per person, Books A Million was allowing people to buy up to 3 books with tickets per person. As luck would have it, there were about 20 people ahead of me when they ran out of the 400 guaranteed signing tickets. I did receive 1 of the 100 not guaranteed tickets, but will be devastated if I don't get the opportunity to finally meet Mr. King. Please know that I understand that the event was first come, first served, but by allowing more than 1 ticket per person, there were many disappointed fans this morning, some of which came from all over New England for this event.
Author of The Road to the Dark Tower, Stephen King: A Complete Exploration of His Work, Life, and Influences and The Dark Tower Companion. Co-editor with Stephen King of the anthology Flight or Fright.
Three tickets per person is very reasonable.
I felt the Austin limit of one ticket per person was not.

WANTED
Signed 1st Edition of Storm of The Century (Paperback)
I got the 4 I was hoping for at South Portland but paid way to much for 2 more making it 6

My friend (who got me the book from B&N) told me that he got hungry during the signing and someone got him a sandwich so he was basically eating and chewing a lot. On her turn she hand the book to a person who opened the book on the right page and handed it to King. He signed, then the person on the other side took it from him and handed it back to her.... some small talk as well.
I don't agree with this - to me, if you're one person, you buy one ticket. If you want more signed, then find somebody else to show up with you.
I have no problem with buying-selling space in line, or stacking the line with friends - but I don't like being able to buy multiple tickets, especially with so many people waiting overnight. At that point, they should have just sold them to the first 100 people in line at 2 a.m. and been done with it.
Some people have jobs. They might be able to show up at 9am but perhaps their partner works. 2 tix pp isn't unreasonable. I had no way to be in Austin Texas the morning the tickets went on sale. I paid a premium (which given the fact I'm 1,000 miles away and could not economically be there) and was happy to do so. I wish I could have obtained another ticket for my wife, but there are none to be found (for less than $400). We're still going, but I'm not whining about the one tix PP, nor would I be whining about 3 tix PP limits.
I agree with RF and Tippy... 2 is fair for sure. That's a wife or best friend or just a fellow King fan. It's more than fair...
